WOODLAND
In 2018, with the help of a Countryside Stewardship Woodland Creation Grant, we planted over 5,000 mixed, native broadleaved trees. As well as providing an additional source of food and cover for grazing cattle, the trees will sequester carbon, help improve water quality and provide food and shelter for other wildlife. It’s a small step. But an important one.
