ROBOTIC PRECISION DRILLING
Our System Cameleon is capable of precision drilling seed, fertilising crops and inter-row hoeing as well as direct drilling cover crop seed into tilth prior to combining the cereal crop. The robotic precision drill allows the user to under sow fertility building leys and green manures into the standing cash crop to improve soil fertility which in turn leads to an increase in yields. This multi- functional system hoes weeds from between the rows whilst drilling the ley thus reducing competition from weeds which are a significant challenge for organic and conventional arable farmers as reliance on chemical herbicides and pesticides is reduced.
IMPROVE ESTABLISHMENT
As well as improved weeding, the ability of the Cameleon to successfully bi-crop, or relay crop, also gives the user the ability to address fluctuations in yield. On mixed farms, the drill will aid better establishment of forage and cover crops, providing a valuable additional food source for your animals as well as improving soil health.
