24 Jul Six Inches of Soil 12th September 2024
NOW SOLD OUT!
Join us at The Workshop, Launceston Farm, on Thursday 12th September for the screening of Six Inches of Soil; a British independent full feature documentary shining a spotlight on soil health and regenerative farming. It tells the inspiring story of young British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil, our health and provide for local communities.
The film tells the story of three new farmers on the first year of their regenerative journey – Anna Jackson, a Lincolnshire 11th generation arable and sheep farmer; Adrienne Gordon, a Cambridgeshire small-scale vegetable farmer; and Ben Thomas, who rears pasture fed beef cattle in Cornwall. They are joined by farmer mentors and experts, providing wisdom and solutions from a growing movement of people who are dedicated to changing the trajectory for food, farming and the planet.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Launceston Farm Organic farmer, Jimi Collis, who will share his own experiences of farming regeneratively in Dorset.
Tickets are £15 for adults and £10 for U16s. Ticket price includes a Launceston Farm organic beef burrito (veggie option available). Venue and bar open at 6pm, screening begins at 7pm.
Please let us know how many tickets you would like and we will send you payment details and further event information.
